Obituary for Shirley Ann Turner (Holcomb)
Shirley Ann Turner, 79, of Cartersville passed away on February 18, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Born on June 27, 1942, in Cartersville she was the daughter of the late Jesse Holcomb and the late Bertha Adcock Holcomb. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Gravley.
Shirley was a member of Atco Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Danny Turner (Kathy Carlisle); her grandchildren, Alex Turner (Ashley), and Justin Turner; and his great-grandchildren, Bella Turner and Kohen Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Powell, Harris Jenkins, Melvin Bagley, Mark Bagley, Mitchell Bagley, and Joe Davis.
