Obituary for Tina Nanette Wilhite

Tina Nanette Wilhite was 55 years young when the Lord called her home on August 10, 2020. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Tina was the best mom and sweetest friend in the world. Her passions were Jesus, her daughter, and photography. She was quiet and shy until you got to know her and then she was sweet and sassy. You could find her behind the camera more often than in front. She loved her family, she loved her city, and most importantly she loved her Jesus. She will be sorely missed by the whole city of White and the holes in her friend’s and family’s hearts will take a long time to heal. Thank you to everyone for your friendship and your prayers.

Born on February 10, 1965 in Cartersville she was the daughter of Herschel Simpson and Barbara Fowler Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Eddie Wyatt; and her precious dog, Little Bear.

Survivors include her daughter, Kharis Meggian Chitwood (Justin); her mother, Barbara Wyatt; her brother, Jeff Lacy (Jane); her sister, Angie Alexandersen (Richard); her father, Herschel Simpson; her sister, Christal Simpson; several nieces and nephews; two great-nephews; and other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor James Black and Pastor Michael Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Adairsville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 social distancing measures will be practiced.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew and Adam Alexandersen, Justin Chitwood, Austin Weinzetl, Mark Allison, Billy Cox, Barry Fowler, and Wayne and John Cothran.
