Obituary for Vicki Lynn Baxter
Vicki Lynn Baxter, 61, of Acworth died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Kennestone Hospital. Born in in Atlanta on September 14, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Richard Calvin Marmon and the late Patricia Jones Marmon. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Lee Marmon.
Vicki was employed as a claims adjuster for Amtrust North America Insurance. She was of the Baptist faith and loved reading and listening to gospel music but most of all she loved her family.
Survivors include her husband of forty two years, Herbie Baxter, of Acworth; her sons, Ronnie Baxter of Carrollton, and Jeremy Baxter of Acworth; her sisters, Angie Brooks of Acworth, and Kay Cook of Jonesboro; her brother, Kenny Marmon of Griffin; and her grandchildren, Madison Baxter, Alyssa Baxter, Lathaion Baxter, Sam Baxter, and Ethan Baxter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Hugh Baxter officiating. Interment will follow in White Oaks Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Brooks, Matt Brooks, Bruce Baxter, Jason Hewitt, and David Hewitt.
