Obituary for Wade Plemons
Wade Plemons, 82, of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at his residence.
Born on May 27, 1938, in Cleveland, Tennessee he was the son of the late Blaine “Pops” Plemons and Lena Gunter Plemons. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, June Plemons; his parents, Blaine and Lena Plemons; his daughter, Sharon Daughtery; his grandsons, Hank Norman, Stacy Cabe, Scotty Ray Owens; and his son-in-law, Murphy Robertson.
Survivors include his children, Carolyn Parris, Joyce Cabe (Ricky), Geneva Robertson, Ernie Ray Owens; nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and his best friend and companion, his dog Molly.
Wade loved fishing and was the best father in the world.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Josh James and Doyle Cabe officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, social distancing rules will be practiced.
Serving as pallbearers will be Johnathan Crump, James Cabe, Jacob Cabe, Preston Bridges, Cade Price, Carson Bailey, and Zeke Price. Serving as an honorary pallbearer is Paul Wade Neeley.
