Obituary for Wesley Davis
Wesley Davis, 57, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Cartersville, on February 15, 1964 he was the son of the late James P. Davis and the late Louise Collum Davis. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel O’tinger, and Lynn Davis; and his brothers, Larry Davis, and Bobby Davis.
Wesley was an equipment operator with Miller Tree Service in Cartersville. He enjoyed playing games of chance. He loved all sports especially football and race cars.
Survivors include his siblings, Diane Davis, Dorothy Jenkins, Cathy Davis, Chuck Davis, Elaine Davis, Tina Davis and Amy Davis; his fiancé, Theresa East; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2021 at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rydal with Pastor Michael Abernathy officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home prior to proceeding to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bud Davis, Bobby Davis, Nick Davis, Jason Davis, B.J. Bearden, and Dustin Jenkins.
