Abraham Edwards

Mr. Abraham Edwards, 79, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta. Born March 30, 1932 in Folsom, he was the son of the late Miles Edwards and the late Mamie Segars Edwards. Preceding him in death is his wife, Frances Emma Edwards; his parents; his sisters, Effie Riggins and Pauline Pinion; his brothers, Albert, Bradley, Rembert and Ralph Edwards.



Mr. Edwards is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Geneva and Bobby Nation; his son and daughter-in-law, A.T. and Kathy Edwards; his grandchildren, Terry and Quincy Nation, Chris Nation, Tommy Nation, Josh and Sasha Edwards and Jeremy Edwards; his great-grandchildren, Austin and Ethan Edwards; and a brother, Walter Edwards.



Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Hansel Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Terry, Chris, and Tommy Nation, Josh and Jeremy Edwards and Charlie Nation.



The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 � 3 p.m. at the funeral home.



Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Abraham Edwards.
