Mrs. Ada Mae Dreggors, age 95, of 2262 Old Calhoun Road, NE, Rome, GA, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 morning in a local nursing facility.Mrs. Dreggors was born in Cherokee County, AL, October 18, 1909, daughter of the late James William and Gusta Ledbetter Studdard but had spent the greater part of her life in Rome and Floyd County. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and the Ladies Ready Sunday School Class. She had resided in Melbourne, FL for several years and prior to her retirement was associated with Montgomery Ward Company as a sales clerk. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jess David Fannin in 1941 and William L. Dreggors in 1992, she was also preceded in death by three sons; Carlton, Winston and Harold Fannin, three brothers and three sistersSurvivors include; a son, Vernon Fannin of Rome, GA, a daughter-in-law, Shirley Fannin of Rome, GA, 2 stepsons; Mike Simpson of Kissimmee, FL, Jimmy Dreggors of Denver, Colorado, a brother, Voyd Studdard of Centre, AL, 2 sisters; Ann Hicks of Rome, GA, and Jeanette Venable of Woodstock, GA, 12 grand children, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Mae Dreggors will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 17, 2004 in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hinkley, and Rev. Bobby Stephens officiating.
