Aileen Blalock

Aileen Blalock, 72, of Adairsville, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at her residence. Born in Acworth on October 12, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Renis Cole and the late Gladys Vance Cole. She attended Kingston Full Gospel Church and before retiring was employed by Glad Manufacturing. Preceding her in death are her parents and a grandson, Steven Blalock.



Survivors include her husband, A.J. Blalock of Adairsville; her children, Rodney Blalock and his wife, Mary of Rome and Sandra Yarbrough of Gasden, Alabama; her grandchildren, Ronnie and Stephanie Blalock of Cartersville, Jennifer and James Wilson of Adairsville, Brent and Misty Lowery of Gadsen, Alabama and Kevin and Latasha Lowery of Cambridge, Ohio; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Doyle and Rachel Cole of Cartersville, Benny Cole of Adairsville, Donnie Cole and Lloyd Cole of Cartersville, and Ronnie Cole of Taylorsville.



Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Earl Wilkey and Rev. C.E. Wilkey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



The family will receive friends from 6 - 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
