Al Willingham

Al Smith Willingham Jr., 64, of Cartersville, GA passed away at home on Friday, December 24, 2021.

Born on June 15, 1957 in Rome, GA he was the son of the late Smith Willingham and Marie Willingham.

Survivors include his wife Gwen Willingham, sons; Trey Willingham (Nicole) and Trent Willingham (Kate), grandchildren; Judson & Case Willingham, sisters; Angie Brock (Scott) and Joy Young (Phil), and brother Tony Willingham (Sheri), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Al was employed by the Georgia Power Company for 42 years from which he retired in 2018. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Al was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting but most especially fishing.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Mr. Larry Mize officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church's Capture the Vision fund.
