Alan Charles Arp, 69, passed away on April 26, 2021 at Assured Hospice Facility.
Born on March 4, 1952, he is the son of the late Perry Arp and Marjorie Woods Arp. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Arp and Timothy Arp, as well as his sister, Vickie Ford.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lloyd Arp; his mother, Marjorie Woods Arp; a daughter, Lisa (John) Ferrese; a grandchild, Hayleigh (Chase) Simpson; sisters, Betty (Winfred) Reagan and Rita (Wayne) Yancey; and stepsons, Randy (Jan) Lloyd, Kevin (Stacey) Lloyd, and David (Jill) Lloyd.
Alan was an electrician before he retired. He was married to his loving wife, Mary, for 46 years. He enjoyed wrestling and was a wrestler before he became an electrician. Alan also loved spending time and caring for his family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Center Baptist Church in Cartersville.
