Alan Nels Banks, age 79, regretfully passed away on September 30, 2022, at his home in Adairsville, Georgia.
Alan was born on March 7, 1943, in San Francisco, California to his late parents, Alfred Banks and Katherine Pearson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Judith Ann Banks; his children Alan Banks Jr. (Catherine), Bradley Banks (Noel), Clinton Banks (Shannon), Edward Podsiad (Sierra), Grace Bishop (Jeff), and James Peyton; his grandchildren Christian Banks, Landon Banks, Spencer Banks, Celeste Banks, Colette Banks, Lochlyn Podsiad, Rowyn Podsiad, and Quinn Downs; and his brothers Bruce Banks (Sylvia), Donald Banks (Susan), and Gerald Banks (Sue).
Alan proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
