Alexander Bradley Smart, 35, was welcomed home on April 16, 2024 in Cartersville. He was born on November 15, 1988 in Rome, Georgia to Clive P. Smart and Kimberly M. Smart.
Alex, or lovingly known as "Big Bubba", was a member of the Kingston Masonic lodge and a bee keeper and farmer by trade. He graduated from Cass High School in 2007, and was formerly employed at Toyo Tires. He practiced Jujitsu and won several belts in competitions. He was the life of the party and loved to make others laugh. He had an incredible sense of humor and always wore the biggest smile.
He is survived by his parents, Kimberly M. Smart of Calhoun, and Clive P. Smart of Cartersville; sister, Courtney Weeks of Calhoun; stepmother April Griffin of Adairsville; niece Anslee Weeks of Calhoun; nephew Ayden Jones of Calhoun; and step daughter, Ivey Harris of Adairsville.
A memorial service for Alex will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, located at 205 W. Cherokee Ave, Cartersville, Georgia 30120.
