Alice Harr

Mrs. Alice Lindeman Harr, 89, of Kingston, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at her residence. Born in Chattanooga, January 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Albert Frederick Lindeman and the late Anna Margaret Usmiller Lindeman. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank C. Harr, Jr.; her sisters, Betty Lindeman Hull, Dorothy Lindeman and Katherine Lindeman.

Mrs. Harr was a member of Anderson Street United Methodist Church in Bristol, Tennessee but attended Kingston United Methodist Church. Before retirement she was employed by the Life of Georgia as a secretary.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lisa Harr; her grandchildren, Andrew Harr, Kara and Todd Turner and Ben and Nicole Harr; six great grandchildren; her half-brother, Albert Lindeman; two nephews and one niece.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia at a later date.
