Alice Lavern Lingerfelt, age 64, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Chattanooga, TN.
Alice was born on May 10, 1959, in Cartersville, Georgia to the late John William Dover & Bertha Mae Dover. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Danny Lingerfelt; and her siblings Geraldine Cromer, J.W. Dover, Elizabeth Dover, Edna Abernathy, Mary Phillips, and Larry Dover.
She is survived by her devoted son Eric Lingerfelt, of whom Alice was very proud; her siblings Jimmy Dover, Robert Dover, and Patricia Jones; her grandchildren Aaron Lingerfelt, Alyssa Nichelson, and Adam Lingerfelt; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Alice was an incredible mother and grandmother. She was a very gifted cook and taught her son Eric many of her recipes. She enjoyed being outdoors and had a soft spot for animals, especially her cat Sassy. She loved her family dearly and they will miss her dearly, but she will forever be loved and always in their hearts.
