Aline Kyle

July 2, 1921 — January 2, 2011

Mrs. Aline Christian Kyle age 89 of Rome died Sunday, January 2, 2011 in Gordon Hospital following a lengthy illness.



Mrs. Kyle was born July 2, 1921 in Chattooga County daughter of the late George Christian and Leekie Cummings Christian. She was a 1938 Graduate of Gore High School. Mrs. Kyle married Byron Kyle on September 3, 1946. Until her retirement Mrs. Kyle had worked for over 35 years as a weaver with Lindale Mills. Mrs. Kyle was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.



Mrs. Kyle was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Kyle on September 16, 1999, three brothers, J.C. �Red� Christian, Charles Christian and Tom Christian, and a sister, Sybil Toles.



Survivors include: three nephews, Bob Christian, Chris Toles and Mike Christian, A special nephew by marriage Mike Urbano whom had been Mrs. Kyle�s caregiver for the past two years. Four nieces, Kathy Hunter, Brenda Swick, Beth Hoyt and Deanna Urbano a number of great nieces and nephews also survive.



Services will be held Wednesday 2 PM in the chapel of Oaknoll Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Andrews officiating, entombment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Kyle will lie in state at Oaknoll Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM.



Pallbearers are ask to meet at the Oaknoll Chapel Wednesday at 1:30 PM and include: Nathan Hoyt, Nat Hoyt, Scott Hunter, Alex Urbano, Blake Urabano, Adam Urbano and Frank Edwards.



In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church101 Broadus Road NE, Rome, GA 30161 in Mrs. Kyle�s memory.
