Allie Moyer

Mrs. Allie Mae Moyer, age 91, of 1345 Redmond Road, Rome, GA, a former resident of Mount Alto Road, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, in a local healthcare facility.Mrs. Moyer was born in Alabama City, AL, on August 1, 1912, and had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County for the greater part of her life. She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of the West Rome Baptist Church. Mrs. Moyer was married in July of 1934 to Mr. William F. Moyer, Sr., who preceded her in death on October 26, 1999. also preceding her in death were her parents, George Washington Yarborough and Edie Eberhart Yarborough, and a brother and sister.Mrs. Moyer is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Jean and Neil Biteler of Ellenwood, GA; two sons, William F. Moyer, Jr., and Michael Kenneth Moyer, both of Byhalia, MS. Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.Funeral services for Mrs. Moyer will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home.
