Alvaro Lopez Acevedo, of Cartersville passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born on July 15, 1964, to the late Luis Lopez and Felicitas Acevedo Lopez.

Survivors include his children, Adriana Lopez, Netzar Lopez, Fredy Lopez, Alexander Lopez, and their families; grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Dalary, and Erick; Siblings, Emeterio, Juan and Family, Maria and Family, Casilda and Family, Elva and Family, Sergio and Family, and Misa and Family; Life Partner, Reina Ramirez; and extended family.

Alvaro loved spending time with his grandkids and joking around. He was a Chef at Moore's Market for over 22 years. Alvaro had a passion for music and was a workaholic.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Alvaro's family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home prior to the service.
