Andrew Taylor

Andrew Autrell Taylor, 81, of Cartersville passed away at Cartersville Medical Center on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Born in Canton on September 19, 1937 he was the son of the late Andrew Taylor and the late Beatrice Cagle Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marie Tidwell.

Autrell attended Cassville Schools and later went on to Young Harris College. He married his wife of fifty-nine years, Ellen Cline on September 5, 1959. He was a very loving husband, daddy, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Autrell was always willing to put his work aside and help you in any way that he could, he was giving in all aspects of his life. He tended to be a workaholic when it came to his brick and block business and later building and remodeling houses.

Survivors include his loving wife; his children, Cindy Graham, and Kit Taylor; his grandchildren, Josh Graham, Jeremy Graham (Danielle), and Justin Taylor (McKayla Fears); his great-grandson, Chase Graham; several nieces and nephews; and his brother, Marvin Taylor (Marie).

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Rudy Ross Officiating and music by Miller Evans. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Graham, Jeremy Graham, Justin Taylor, Ray Evans, David Taylor, and Mike Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Womack, Richard Cole, and Dennis Graham.
