Andy Jones

Andy Hugh Jones, 88, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2021.

Born on May 2, 1933, Andy was the son of the late John Jefferson Jones & Lilie Mae Jones. He was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Jones, daughter Rhonda Armstrong (Fred) and his brothers Herman Jones, Cecil Jones, Roy Jones, & James Jones and his grandson Brandon Jones.

Survivors include Andy's son Gary Jones, Gary's spouse Robin Carter, Gary's daughter Melissa Jones, Robin's children; Shallison Holder, Shannon Sheffield, & their children, Andy's daughter Pamela Tipton, Pamela's children; Dana Hartley, Daniel Tipton, Joshua Tipton, Kyle Osteen, & Autumn Osteen, Rhonda Armstrong's son, Trevor Armstrong, as well as many great-grandchildren. Andy is also survived by his very best friend of 71 years, Billy Woods.

The family will be receiving friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at the Dewey Baptist Church Cemetery at 895 Springs Place Rd. NE White, GA 30184.
