Anita Kay Alexander, 62, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on January 2, 2022 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born on November 28, 1959 in Lafayette, Georgia, she is the daughter of the late James Howard Alexander and Brenda Louise Alexander. She is preceded in death by her twin sister, Rita Faye Alexander.
Survivors include her mother, Brenda Alexander of Trenton, Georgia; children, Cynthia (Kevin) Roundtree, Andrew (Heather) McNeil, Michael (Amber) Evans, Christopher (DJ'e) Evans, and Amanda Evans; siblings, Gail (Greg) Nanni, Teresa (Kevin) Sutton, Melody (Randy) Parker, and Jackie (Shawn) Dutto; special friend, Adam Blough; grandchildren, Katie Hudgins, Kyleigh Hudgins, Kambree Roundtree, Kayden Roundtree, Koriana Roundtree, Katie Thomas, Alyssa Evans, Taylor Evans, Natalie Evans, David Evans, Grant Evans, Nevaeh Evans, Sarah Evans, Alex Evans, Annalee Henderson, and Troy Henderson; great grandchildren, Kingston Hudgins and Josiah Ortega; nine nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Anita was a kind, caring and loving person. She was a giver and loved and was loved by everyone that knew her. Her family was her world, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always made every occasion fun for family and friends. To know her was to love her.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Seth Bunch officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery in Adairsville, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 10, 2022 one hour prior to the service.
Serving as pall bearers will be Kevin Sutton, Jake Sutton, Kevin Roundtree, Tommy Dunton, Will Tweedy, David Evans, and Tucker Roach.
