Annie Sue Abernathy, 78, of Cartersville Georgia, went home on March 9, 2023.
She was born on September 22, 1944 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Paul Kimbrel and Mary Selena Kimbrel. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Henson; her husband, Danny Abernathy; her sister, Selma Rutledge Branton; and her brothers-in-law, George Smith, Luther Rutledge, and Bill Branton.
Survivors include her son, Brian (Tara) Nix; granddaughter, Audrey (Jacob) Lidh; great grandchildren, Ava Lidh and Henry Lidh; sisters, Sara (Roy) Smith, Pat Smith, and Brenda Barge; brother, Glen (Pam) Kimbrel; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 13, 2023 at White United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Butch Cole officiating.
