Annie Fortenberry

Annie Mae Fortenberry, 92, of Cassville, died on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Townsend Park Health.

Born in Cassville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James A. Matthews and the late Nettie Ledford Matthews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest W. Fortenberry; her sister, Evelyn Lewis; and her brother, J.V. Matthews.

Survivors include her son, Ed Fortenberry (Sherri); her grandchildren, Justin Fortenberry (Sheri), Taryn Fortenberry; her great-grandson, Holden, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
