Mrs. Annie Margaret Quick McNabb, 81, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully at her residence, Saturday, May 12, 2012 surrounded by her family. Born in Floyd County on January 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Louie Alexander and the late Katherine Reeves Alexander. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Claude Quick; her second husband, Walter McNabb, Jr.; her sister, Margie Snead; her brothers, Houston, Garner, and Billy Alexander.
Mrs. McNabb was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Union Carbide.
She is survived by her children, Steve Quick and wife, Sarah, Wayne Quick and wife, Lynn, Ken Quick and Robin Black, Walter McNabb III and wife, Cindy and Candy Holstein; her grandchildren, Angela Farmer, Brad Quick, Brittney Quick, Katie Quick, Josh Quick, Brandon McNabb, Logan McNabb, Macy McNabb Jeff and Michelle Holstein; one great-grandchild, Ella Holstein; and her brother, Gordon Alexander of San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Clinton Green and Rev. Gary Hibbards officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Quick, Wayne Quick, Ken Quick, Luke Leatherwood, Gary Snead and Govan Alexander. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. on Monday.
The family will receive friends today from 6 � 9 p.m.
