Annie Palmer

Mrs. Annie Ruth Palmer, age 83, of Rome, GA died Saturday, April 17, 2010 in a Rome hospital.



Mrs. Palmer was born in Floyd County, GA on June 11, 1926, daughter of the late Clem Ray and Thelma Nixon Ray. She had spent her entire life in Rome and Floyd County. Mrs. Palmer retired from the Krystal Corp. with over twenty years of service. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Howard Palmer, Jr. in 1971.



Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Annette Palmer of Rome, GA; brother, Hoyt and his wife Fannie Ray of Rome, GA; sisters, Bonnie and her husband Alfred Searles and Myrtle Oswalt all of Rome, GA.



Graveside and interment services will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the East View cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Ray officiating.



The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home.
