Anthony Dorsett

Anthony Steven Dorsett, 28, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

Born in Rome on December 11, 1990 he was the son of Max Dorsett and Kelly McIntyre. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxie L. Dorsett and Jimmy Lee McIntyre.

Anthony loved everybody especially his family. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of local 926. He was close to completing his apprenticeship. Anthony loved working on cars and racing Go Karts, he was a Go Kart Racing Champion and the mechanic behind his consecutive championship racing seasons.

Survivors include his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Mara Dorsett; his nieces, Madison Dorsett, and Natalie Dorsett; his grandparents, June and Wayne Isaac, and Peggy Blankenship; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Don Jenkins, Pam Dorsett, and Mickeal Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow on Kingston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Turner, Brian Isaac, Bryan Moore, Zach Pas, Junior Moore, Eric Moore, Devon Isaac, and Nick Mozzone.
