Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Amber Henson, who was the love of his life and his constant companion. Together, they shared a beautiful journey, much like Carl and Ellie from the Disney movie "UP," a comparison Tony often made with a smile. Their love story began by chance in a parking lot, and from that moment, it was always "him and her."
He was a proud and loving father to his beloved daughter, Mackenzie Henson, who was the light of his life. Tony's brothers, Danny (Teresa) Henson and Joe Newberry, sister Amanda (Daniel) Henson and special nephew lovingly referred to as "Little Danny," along with his sister-in-law Yvonne Newberry, numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, will forever cherish his memory.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Tim Henson, his mother, Glenda Henson, his daughter, Courtney Henson, numerous beloved pets who were part of his family, as well as several other family members.
In his professional life, Tony was a dedicated forklift operator for a few years before finding his passion as a tow truck driver, a role he embraced for 18 years, serving the Cartersville and Atlanta area with dedication and skill.
Tony had a zest for life and a love for adventure. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and found joy in attending races. He also cherished traveling with Amber, exploring the beauty of the South with visits to St. Augustine, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; and Brasstown Bald, Georgia.
His life will be celebrated, and his memory cherished by all who knew him. Arrangements have been entrusted to Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Tony's spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will be a guiding light for his family and friends.
