April Holliday

October 13, 1977 — August 12, 2025

April Love Holliday, 47, of Rome, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Born on October 13, 1977, she was the daughter of Steve Lee and the late Kathy Gravley Lee. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Billy Ledford, Sr.

April was one of the strongest people anybody has ever known. She was extremely intelligent and though her body was broken, her mind and soul were stronger than anybody's. April was a bright star in the darkest night. She was absolutely loved by everybody. A special "Thank You" to all the folks at Pruitt Healthcare for the wonderful way she was catered to.

Along with her father, survivors include her sister, Amanda Hayes; aunt, Alesia Lowe; uncle, Billy Ledford, Jr. (Amber); nieces and nephews, Savannah Elliott, Jayden Tucker, and Xzavier Hayes; and great nephew, Nylas Elliott.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Emerson City Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service.
