Arcus William Wilkerson IV, 21, of Taylorsville died Sunday, February 14, 2010. Born in Cartersville on August 19, 1988, he was the son of Arcus "Sonny" William Wilkerson III and Leisa Johnson Wilkerson of Taylorsville. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arcus Wilkerson, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Jessie Johnson and Sarah Johnson; and his great-grandparents, James Bowden and Elma Bowden.



Arcus was a member of Euharlee Baptist Church. He was a good-hearted person and had a heart of gold. Arcus loved cars and trucks, was known for being a strong worker, and was a good student in school.



Survivors include his parents; his brothers, Jonathan Byrd and Kody James Wilkerson; his sister, Jessica Byrd Corn; his grandmother, Emojean Wilkerson; three nieces, Katana Killgore, Korina Killgore, and Katelin Killgore; one nephew, Kaleb Killgore; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.



A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Euharlee Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Euharlee Baptist Church Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
