Audrey White

Mrs. Audrey White, 86, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Specialty Hospital at Floyd. A native of Bartow County, Mrs. White was born May 18, 1924 and was the daughter of the late George Baxter and Mable Charlton Baxter. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie B. White and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. White was a great mom, adviser, caregiver and seamstress. She was a determined person, modest, friendly and had a great sense of humor. She was devoted to her family and always put everyone�s� needs ahead of her own. Mrs. White was recognized by many people as a part of Holt�s Pharmacy where she was employed for over twenty years.

Mrs. White is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary White, Janice and Don Greenway, Susan and Steve Burton and Julie Lewis; her grandchildren, Daryl and Jonathan Greenway, Chuck and Charlene Causey, Ben Burton and Mandy and Heath Cantrell; her great-grandchildren, Caleb Causey and Johnny Cantrell; her sisters, Juanita Gosa of Alabama and Charlotte Robinson of Rome; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Paul Battles officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 � 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
