Barbara Ann Coalson, 76, of Cartersville passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024.

Born on August 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James Millwood and the late Lois Bramblett Millwood. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Coalson; her son, Kevin Coalson; sister, Janice Mooney; nephew, Larry Craig; and great-nephew, Maverick Wehunt.

Barbara loved crafting such as sewing and quilting. She was also a huge animal lover. Barbara had a passion for reading in her spare time, and she loved traveling.

Survivors include her children, Karen (Rickie) Holten, Terry (Denise) Coalson, Donna Privett, and Alysia Wishart; grandchildren, Brandy Williams, Jennifer Coalson, Diane Scott, Stuart Wishart, Amber Kitchens, Jessica Mallett, Faith DeBerry, Douglas Privett, and River Privett; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Viola (Daryl) Johnsey; and brother, Jerry (Susie) Millwood.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Acworth.
