Barbara Morgan

Mrs. Barbara Ann Morgan, 81, of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was born in Mableton, Georgia on December 14, 1935, the daughter of the late William Tommy Jacobs and Ruby Jacobs.

Mrs. Morgan was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her children. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Morgan; her sons, Charles Morgan and Randy Morgan; her sisters, Frances Windsor, Dot Moore, Jackie Cobb, Helen Feathers and Louise Borneman; her brothers, Bud, Jacobs, James Jacobs and Benny Jacobs; and her grandson, Jerome Walden.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Ray of Acworth, Debbie Morgan of Oklahoma, Freddie Morgan of California, Dennis Wayne Morgan of Cartersville and William George "Sonny" Morgan of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Joe Heath, Shaun Heath, Stacy Parks, Shawn Morgan, Freddie Morgan, Johnnie Beth Morgan, Alex Collins, Racheal Stewart, Autumn Duke, Megan Cargil and Randy Morgan; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
