Barbara Sands Schroeder

Barbara Sands Schroeder, 72, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Born on October 17, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James Howard Wimpy and the late Bea Ivalee Wimpy.
Barbara was preceded in death by her son, John Jr.; her loving daughter Kimberly Dawn Schroeder; and her brother Ray Wimpy.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, John Schroeder Sr.; her brothers Glenn Wimpy (Barbara) and Randy Wimpy (Terrie); loving mother-in-law Mary Lou Schroeder; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a very caring person, always putting other people before herself. She was always there if you needed her. She loved the Lord and was a member of The Church at Liberty Square. She was a certified hypnotherapist for over twenty years. She will never be forgotten by the ones who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home in the chapel on October 3, 2024 at 5:00 pm. The memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm with Reverend Josh James and K Ray Looney officiating.
