Barry Burns

Mr. Barry Glenn Burns, 55, of Cartersville passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at his residence. A native of Bartow County, Mr. Burns was born September 8, 1955 and was the son of the late Will Burns, Jr. and the late Mamie Jewell Simpson Burns. He was a member of Center Baptist Church and was employed by Apex Services before his illness. Preceding him in death along with his parents are his brother, Kenneth Burns; and a sister, Patsy Pierce.



Survivors include his wife, Kathy Young Burns; his children, Jessica Worley and husband, Rick, Brandy Carpenter and husband, John and David Whitfield; his grandchildren, Aleigha McDaniel, Bayli and Cierra Carpenter, Charyden and Anthony Whitfield; his brother, Larry Burns; his sister, Kathy Chapman; and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Center Baptist Church.
