Barry Little

January 4, 1961 — November 27, 2008

Mr. Barry Gene Little, 47, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Redmond Regional Hospital. Born January 4, 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of Tommy Little and Geneva Morrow Little. Barry enjoyed restoring cars, doing yard work, fishing and hunting, and was always willing to help the less fortunate. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Little, and his sister, Gen Little.



Survivors include his wife, Trudy Little; his daughters and son-in-law, Sabrina Little and Jessica and Nathan Millsaps; his sons, Barry Gene Little Jr. and Tommy Gene Little II; his grandson, Dakota Millsaps; his parents, Tommy and Geneva Little; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Leigh Luckie and Christian Ethridge; his In-Laws, Terry and Brenda Gossett; a special aunt, Suzie Perkins; and his brothers, Bradley Little and Terry Little.



Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Doug Harris and Rev. J.B. Jewell officiating. In addition to local services, Mr. Little will lie in state from 1 � 2 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 in the Warrior Independent Church of God, Warrior, Alabama. Interment will follow in Liberty Mintor Cemetery in Morris, Alabama.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to assist with funeral expenses.
