Bernice Hardin

Bernice Ezell Hardin, 78, of Cartersville passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Assured Hospice in Cartersville.

Born in Cartersville on August 21, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Bud Mundy and the late Mildred Mundy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Hardin; her brother Clyde Ezell; her grandson, Scotty Owens; and her daughter, Tammy Jones.

Bernice was employed at Cartersville Sample until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. She deeply loved her family.

Survivors include her sons, Dwayne Hardin (Coramae), and Jeff Hardin (Connie); her daughter, Tracey Price (Greg); her grandsons, Todd Price, Brad Price, and Josh Hardin; her granddaughters, Deanna Smith, Danielle Jones, Denise Graham, Robin Hardin, Mandy Perenich, Nikki Harrison, and Chasidy Hardin; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Billy Mundy and Reverend Donnie Summey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Lowery, Zack Hardin, Corbin Hardin, Kevin Owens, Todd Price, and Josh Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Aiden Morris, Bailey Owens.
