Mrs. Bertha Catherine "Kate" Kaczor, 92, of Cartersville, widow of the late Edward E. Kaczor, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Golden Living Centers – Kennestone.
Born September 23, 1923 in Ligonier, PA, she was a daughter of the late George Petrilla and the late Margaret Catherine Byers Petrilla. Mrs. Kaczor was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Natrona Heights, PA. She worked for 10 years at the mushroom mine in West Winfield, PA and volunteered for the American Cancer Society. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lawrence Kaczor; her siblings, Alice McCauley, George, John, Ralph, Daniel Petrilla, Charles Petrilla, Margaret Riffer, Sophia Boshinsky and Anna Mae Foy.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela S. Hughes and her husband Loran of Cartersville, and Sandy Rollinger and her husband Donald of Apollo, PA; son, Ron Kazor and his wife Lynn of Freeport, PA; brothers, Robert and Franklin Petrilla ; sisters, Sara McDonald, Fay Klingensmith and Donna Stone;
and several nieces and nephews.
