Bettie Jane Howard Newman, 90, of Dallas passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her residence.
Born on November 10, 1929 in Cedartown she was the daughter of the late William T. Howard and the late Margaret Bray Howard; she was also preceded in death by her husband, Solen Newman.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Poe and her husband, Mickey, Amelia Gail Newman, and Kimberly Faye Newman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Faye Bowers and her husband, Jimmy.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Georgia Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
