Betty Bennett

Betty Ann Bennett, 75, of Kingston stepped into eternity and into the arms of Jesus Christ in heaven. Born October 28, 1935 in Bartow County she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Hale and the late Addie Hubbard Hale. Betty retired from the Bartow County School system as a lunchroom manager and �momma� to those at Cass Primary School.



Survivors include her husband, Tam Bennett; her children and their spouses, Charlotte and Ricky Herod, Randy and Trisha Bennett, and Tim and Geri Bennett; her grandchildren Corey Herod, Michael Herod, Raquel Patterson, Kelli Heath, Dakota Heath, Tyler Cornwell, Dakota Bennett, and Avery Bennett; her great-grandchildren, Tobie Herod, Tommy Herod, Torrey Herod, Tiffany Herod, Tristyn Herod, Logan Herod, Dillon Herod, Landon Herod, Camille Herod, Peyton Patterson, and Jada Patterson.



Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Rome with the Rev. Billy Chambers, the Rev. Tim Bennett, and the Rev. Rob Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Kingston.



Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Herod, Corey Herod, Marty Baker, Dakota Bennett, Danny Cagle, and Wayne Mainor. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Avery Bennett. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 8 on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
