Mrs. Betty Jo Eley Cadle, age 71, of 2260 Rome Highway, Cedartown, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 09, 2005.Mrs. Cadle was born in Bartow County, Georgia on August 10, 1934 the daughter of the late William H. Eley and Kanzady Roberson Eley. She had lived most of her life in Rome and Floyd County and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church but attended Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Cedartown. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Cadle worked in Macon, GA until 1996 as medical center coliseum supervisor, as an LPN then continued her career with the Equifax and P.M.I. Medical Company performing medical exams. Mrs. Cadle was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Houston, Frank and William Kay Eley and by one sister, Mildred Gossett.Survivors include her husband, James Cadle of Cedartown; one son, Norman Pace of Coosa; daughter, Sandra Pace of Coosa and special daughter, Buffy Cadle of Cedartown; five grandchildren, Rodney Patrick Cadle, Laura Jan Pace Parker, Eric Parker Danny William Eugene Cadle and B.J. Pace; eight great grandchildren, Will Norman Pace Parker, Emily Parker, Damon Cadle, Ashland Cadle, Gene Shelton Cadle, Cheyenne Cadle, Patrick Cadle and Alex Cadle; and one sister, Jean Atkinson, Cartersville also survives.Funeral services for Mrs. Cadle will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Oaknoll Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Arp and Rev. Jeff Wilkins officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden of the Apostles at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight (Thursday) from 7:00 until 9:00 pm. At other hours the family may be contacted at the residence of her son and daughter, 2 Lakeland Drive.Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 pm Friday and include, Norman Pace, Rev. Jeff Wilkins, Dennis Johnston, Eric Parker, Gary Pace and James Loiles.
