Betty Ezell

Betty Nell Ezell, age 79, sadly passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Cartersville, Georgia.

Betty Nell was born in Taylorsville, Georgia on January 11, 1944, to the late Bill & Pauline Nelson. She is also preceded in death by her brother Billy Frank Nelson, and his wife Martha Dean Nelson, who was a very special friend to Betty Nell.

She is survived by her three loving children Dina Ezell, Brian Ezell (Tammi), and Mike Ezell; her grandchildren Drake Ezell, Hope Ezell, Harleigh Ezell, Holly Ezell, and Dylan Nichols; and her great-grandchildren Moreland Riggenbach, Ellie Riggenbach, Coleson McDonnell, Emma Harris, Landon Rhett Head, and Scarlett Hill.

Betty Nell was a very devout Christian woman and Sunday school teacher who knew the bible like the back of her hand. She was a member of Brandon's Chapel Baptist Church in Cartersville, Georgia. She attended Shorter College and earned an associate degree in Art. She was a very creative woman and her favorite thing to do was sew. She was also an incredibly hard worker and had a career as a medical office manager for 50 plus years. Not only was Betty Nell an incredibly beautiful woman, but she was also a sincerely devoted mother and grandmother who is going to be missed severely by her friends and family.

Betty Nell's family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in the Parnick Jennings chapel. Interment will follow at the Old Taylorsville Church Cemetery.
