Betty Jones

Betty Ann Jones, 68, formerly of Walker Rd., Cartersville passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Maple Ridge Health Care. Born July 4, 1940 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of J.W. Collett and Mary Ellen Teague Collett. Betty had been employed by Cartersville Sample Co. as a binder operator. More recently she had retired from Holiday Inn of Cartersville. Preceding her in death are her parents; and her siblings, Jr. Collett, Louise Harris, and Nola Collett.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Thomas Reeves of Adairsville; her grandchildren, Angel Jones, Thomas and Brandy Reeves, Brittany Hyde, and Joseph and Rebecca Reeves; her great-grandchildren, Evan Smith and Kameron Reeves; and her sisters and brother-in-law, Jane Holcomb of Cartersville and Janet and Bill McDaniel of Lafayette.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Josh James officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
