Mrs. Betty Leachman Knight, 83, of Rydal passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, born September 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Leachman and the late Bertha Goss Leachman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Knight; her daughter, Vivian Smith and her son, Tim Kimbell. Mrs. Knight was retired from Nantucket Industries.
Survivors include her son, Mike Kimbell (Susan); her daughter, Kathy Smith (Fulton); her sister, Lillie House; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2013 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Michael Matthews officiating.
