Betty L. McDaniel, 77, of 511 Cassville Road Cartersville, died Wednesday afternoon February 16, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. McDaniel was born in Cartersville September 22, 1933 daughter of the late Robert and Lilly Little Dobbs. She had been a resident of Cartersville her entire life and prior to retirement in 2002 had driven a school bus for the Cartersville Public Schools for 11 years. To keep her mind sharp, she enjoyed doing word search puzzles and loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Randy McDaniel; children Toni Lindsey, Wanda McCoy, Marty McCoy, Starr Trubiano and Mike and Steve McDaniel; grandchildren Shannon Davis, Jay Davis, Chad McKnight, Justin Stephenson, Brandi Jackson, Troy McCoy, Bridgett Butcher, Jesse Jenkins, Jennifer Graham, Stephen McDaniel, Danielle McDaniel, Ryan McDaniel, Michael McDaniel, and Danny and Alan Lindsey. Great grandchildren Caden, Jesse, Cameron, Billy, Taylor, Madison, McKenzie, Maddox, Dallas, Bryson, Brianna, Ryland, Jayden, Cody, Destin, Angel, Kaleb, Isaiah, Mikail, Gracie, Sophie, Daniel, Cody, Alec, and Kylie.
Memorial services for Betty L. McDaniel will be conducted at 2 PM Friday February 18, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Reverend Keith Willard officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until the service hour.
