Betty Mullinax

Mrs. Betty Sue Mullinax, 69, of Rydal, died Monday, July 7, 2014 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, she was born March 6, 1945, the daughter of the late Joe Sterling Lee and Mary Hufstetler Lee.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Donna Mae Queen, Geneva Day, Lillie Mae Harris, James, Willard, Billy, and Hermie Lee. Betty was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a 1988 graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Associate of Science-Nursing Program and was a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Honor Society. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed NASCAR, watching the Braves and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, James Mullinax of Rydal; her daughter, Amanda D. Cameron of Rome; her son, Eddy Mullinax and wife, Ty Ann; her brother, Bobby Ray Lee; her grandchildren, Jeremy Jamison, Nick Jamison, Kathy Mullinax and Acelin Mullinax; along with one great-great-grandchild, Bailey Jamison.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Michael Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow in Old Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
