Betty Reeves

Betty Reeves, 88, of Cartersville passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at her residence.

Born on September 29, 1932, in Pontiac, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Hartley and Emma McLeod. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Reeves Sr; her son, Harold Reeves Jr; and her grandson, Harold Reeves III.

Betty loved bowling and playing Bingo. She was always on the go and loved everyone she met.

Survivors include her children, Emma Hall, Diana (Mike) Harvey, Betty Cornett, Tom (Denise) Reeves, Jack (Judy) Reeves, and Dale Rumph; she had sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Tilley, Michael Gayton, Chris Howard, Scott Gayton, Ryan Griggs, and Halston Rosales.
