Betty Viall

Mrs. Betty Deason Brown Viall, age 84, of Rome, GA, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in a Rome hospital.



Mrs. Viall was born February 26, 1925 in Floyd County, GA the daughter of the late Willie Deason and Annie Mae Vick Deason. Mrs. Viall was a homemaker and a member of Dykes Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Viall is preceded in death by her first husband, Donnie David Brown on July 7, 1994; her second husband, Roy Parker Viall on October 10, 2000 and by a brother, Carlton Deason and her son-in-law, Jimmy Woods.



Survivors include a son, Michael Anthony Brown and wife Steffani of Gilbert, AZ; a daughter, Donnie Jean Woods of Rome, GA; grandchildren Michael Timothy Brown and wife April of Cartersville, GA, Kayce Liegh Brown of Los Angeles, CA, Jillian Star Woods Baker, David Ray Woods and Ashley Michelle Woods all of Rome, GA, step-granddaughter, Chris Ruckstuhl of Gilbert, AZ; six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren and a sister, Charolette Kelley of Rome, GA.



Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Mikel Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.



Mrs. Viall will remain in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.



The deacons of Dykes Creek Baptist Church have been asked to serve as pallbearers.
