Beverly Byrd

Beverly Ann Byrd, 73, of Cartersville died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Cartersville Heights Rehab. Born August 4, 1937 in Mooresville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late George Dewey Kirkendoll and the late Ella Louise Fergusen Kirkendoll. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Byrd.



Beverly was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She worked most of her life in office and restaurant management.



Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Theresa and David VanderJagt of Fairbanks, Alaska and Rene` Barnwell of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Tillett, Rachel VanderJagt, Erik Holmes, Amanda Holmes, Jonathan VanderJagt, and Faith VanderJagt; her great-grandchildren, Elijah Holmes and Lukas Holmes; her special friend, Sue Adams; and her Pomeranian, Zoe Ann.



Services will be private.
