Mrs. Billie W. Brown of Kingston, Ga. went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2024, at the age of 90.
Mrs. Brown was born in Cartersville Ga. on September 9, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Colburn and John Wigington. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Wigington and her loving husband of 68 years, Ernest A. Brown.
She was an active member of Kingston United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brown was employed by Southern Bell until her retirement.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Ratliff (Dennis) and son, Mike Brown (Holly); five grandchildren, Tiffany LeVerne, Heather Abercrombie (Jackson), Doug Brown (Jill), Donovan Brown (Kimberly), and Taylor Keith (Tim); and thirteen great grandchildren, Trace LeVerne, Maggie LeVerne, Bella Brown, Baylor Brown, Blayze Brown, Brinley Brown, Berkley Brown, Beckett Brown, Tucker Abercrombie, Sawyer Abercrombie, Peyton Keith, Collins Keith, and Morgan Keith.
A special thank you to Shirley Robbins, her sister-in-law that was more like her sister.
A graveside memorial service will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Sunset Memory Gardens.
