Billy Langford

Mr. Billy Royce Langford, Sr. 82, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence. Born in Vienna, Georgia on January 19, 1932, he was the son of the late James B. Langford and Annie Mae Crosby Langford.

Mr. Langford retired from the Civil Service with 32 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the owner of a Lawn/Garden Equipment Repair Specialty Service in Warner Robins, Ga. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 plus years, Barbara Swearingen Langford.

Survivors include his son's Bill Langford, Jr. (Renee) of Adairsville; and Tony Langford (Amy) of Pinehurst; his grandchildren, Haley Roksandich, Chelsi Jones, Jordan Marley and Lilly Langford; and one great-granddaughter, Sarahlynn Roksandich.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, December 26th at the Church at Liberty Square- Fellowship Commons in Cartersville, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Brannen-Nesmith Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brannen-Nesmith Funeral Home, 1411 East Union Street, Vienna, Georgia 31092. Interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
