With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bill C.L. Qualls, a beloved resident of Cartersville, GA. Bill peacefully departed this life on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by his family.
Born on Friday, April 3, 1942, in Cleveland, Tennessee, Bill was the cherished son of the late Charles and Ethel Qualls. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don (Marilyn) Qualls, as well as his sister Louise Townsend.
Bill proudly served his country as a dedicated member of the United States Army. His commitment to service was a testament to his strength and courage. After completing his military service, Bill pursued a career as a brick mason, displaying remarkable skill and craftsmanship throughout his time as a self-employed mason.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories. Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Mary Kay Qualls. He was a loving father to his daughters, Marty Miller and her husband Neal, Debbie Kay Mackey, and Tina Johnson, and his son, William Lewis (Sherry Lynn) Qualls. His memory will further be cherished by his grandchildren, Zebuloen (Deanna) Vollm, Quinton (Kristen) Vollm, Nathan Gossett, Christie (Matt) Barnwell, Tiffany (Jeremy) Waterman, Charles Qualls, and Amanda Alex. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Bellamy, Rowan, Kade, Tommy, Raven, Lola, Gavin, Jayden, Alexander, and Roger. Bill's sister, Lois (Charlie) Rampley will fondly remember him, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill's life will be commemorated with arrangements provided by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. His warm smile, generous spirit, and strong presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
